Annual Sports Day Report

The Annual Sports Day of KLE School, Lingaraj College Campus, Belagavi was celebrated with unbridled enthusiasm on 18th December 2025. The event was graced by distinguished guests тАФ Mr. Jagdish Gasti, Associate Director, Rani Chennamma University; Ms. Dipti Ingle, Principal, KLE International School; Ms. Hema Shedshyal, Principal, Banyan School, Bhagya Nagar; Ms. Kavita Chavan, Principal, Banyan School, Lingaraj Campus; and Mr. Rama Rao, Sports Director, Lingaraj College.

The programme commenced with the torch-bearing ceremony, followed by an awe-inspiring march past and energetic sports display by students of Classes 3, 4, 5, and 6. The Sports Oath was administered by the Principal MaтАЩam. The guests judged the March Past event, in which Blue House emerged as the winners. Uplifting words by Mr. Jagdish Gasti inspired the students to pursue excellence with discipline and determination. Thrilling final track events were conducted, including 100m and 200m races for Classes 6, 9, and 10, along with a relay race for Classes 8, 9, and 10.

The day concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where Blue House was also declared the General Championship Winner for their outstanding overall performance.

The Sports Day was a resounding success, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students. ЁЯПЖ

National Sports Day

The National Sports Day of India was celebrated in KLE School, in Tribute to the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The students were told about the importance of 'Sports' and the relevance of National Sports Day during the Assembly.

The day marks the birth anniversary of hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand. He was born on 29th August,he was selected for the Indian Hockey Team and won many medals for our country.

On this occasion, all the students participated in various sports activities with great enthusiasm and zeal.The children learnt a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of playing games.
Students were seen playing with true team spirit..

KLE School organised Annual Sports Day

The event took place in the spacious playground of the school. Dr Harpreet Kaur , Exercise Physiologist and Sports Nutritionist was the chief guest of the event..Students of various classes participated in the sports day.. The four houses of the school cheered for their respective members. The Sports Day started with the march past of the four different houses. After the march past, the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like relay races, 100 metres race, 200 metres race, long jump, and shot put..The Principal gave away certificate and medals to the winners. In the end, the Principal thanked everyone for their presence and support, and congratulated the students for their exceptional performances.

Annual Athletic Meet 2019-20

The first Annual Sports Meet 2019-20 was conducted on the bright sunny morning of 14 dec19. The chief guest was Mr Pramod Vithal Patil ,physical education teacher and CBSE observer, Naval School , Goa. The event began with the releasing of balloons and Oath taking ceremony followed by welcome song by the teachers. The show events included March past by the four houses, PT displays , fun race ,tug of war held for parents and teachers. Prize distribution was held at the conclusion of each event. The Chief Guest praised the endeavours of the school and highlighted the necessity of sportsmanship. The principal also thanked parents for their support and encouragement that lent charm to the event.

Annual Athletic Meet 2018-19

Annual Sports Meet was held on 2-2-2018 with great zeal , excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the principal welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports in a child’s life. The Chief guest , Mr Gudigoppa CPI highlighted the necessity of sportsman’s spirit and boosted the confidence of the participants. The event was inaugurated with a welcome dance and culminated with the Prize distribution ceremony.

National Sports Day in celebrated on 29 August to commemorate the birth of Indian hockey legend Major Dyan Chand On the occasion of National Sports Day various sports activities were conducted and highlighted the importance of Sports.
