Workshop

As a strong step towards making our children safe , KLE School conducted a workshop on the topic of, 'Good Touch Bad Touch.'

The workshop was conducted with the objective of spreading awareness and educating children about good and bad touch, at a time when child abuse.

Speaking on the occasion the Principal assured the students that the doors to her room will always be open for any child who wishes to come up and discuss any issue with her.

To encourage our youth to join the Indian Air Force in the Officers Cadre, the distinguished Education Officers of Airmen Training School, Sambra, Belagavi, conducted a direct contact programme for our students so that the youth of our nation is exposed to various facets of IAF and we get better quality of applicants applying for joining the Indian Air Force. Students of 9th and 10th class were made aware of various job opportunities in IAF and prerequisites they needed to have in order to join IAF.

Trees contribute to their environment over a long period of time by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.

A young tree with a slender trunk is known as a sapling. Tree planting is the process in which tree seedlings are transplanted, generally for forestry, land reclamation, or landscaping purposes. Tree plantation is very necessary because trees provide oxygen to the environment and make the air quality better. If more trees are planted, then the world's environment will become a safer place to live in. Tree plantation also reduces pollution, thus making the life of future generations secure.

Workshop on "Sapling Making" was conducted in KLE SCHOOL LINGARAJ COLLEGE CAMPUS BELAGAVI on 16.8.2023 under the guidance of team members of "Green Saviours Association" The event was graced by esteemed chief guest, Datta Tagare Sir along with few other volunteers. In this workshop students were told how to mix the soil, manure, dry leaves, wood powder, cocopeat, rice husk in different proportions, and how to sow the seed and the correct method to take care of the sapling. Discussions on the harmful effects of plastic on the environment were held.

Principal ma'am, teachers in charge , students of scouts and guides attended the workshop.

An introductory workshop on vedic mathematics was conducted today in our school for grade 8 and 9

Vedic Mathematics is a collection of Methods or Sutras to solve numerical computations quickly and faster. It consists of 16 Sutras called Formulae and 13 sub-sutras called Sub Formulae, which can be applied to the solving of problems in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, conics, etc.

Professional development for teachers in any form can be an important aspect of becoming a well rounded and experienced educator.The practice of continually developing ones skills as an educator can help to create a teaching workforce that is suited for students from varying backgrounds.

A workshop was conducted by Ms. Sonali Bajagar for making using technology in the classroom more comfortable during the virtual classes..

Child Rights and Pocso Act Workshop was conducted for the staff by Mr Lokesh, protection officer and Mrs Vijush from District Child Protection Unit. They briefed about the rights and the do’s and don't’s in a school environment and created awareness about it.

Adolescence workshop was conducted by Ms Shobha Jagadish, IFD trainer for the students of class V and VI.It was a interactive session,which gave an insight into the growing life of teens.

School Orientation Programme 19-20 for the parents of children studying in class LKG to VI was conducted on 4th and 7th of June respectively. The aim was to familiarize the parents as ‘partners in progress’ with the curriculum, rules and regulation of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities, School timings, CCE , School Calendar ,the academic team comprising the principal and the academic co-ordinators Mrs Swati (KG Section ) Mrs Bhagayalaxmi ( Class I and II ) Mrs Lata ( Class III to VI ) and all the programmes run in the school.
The principal answered the queries of the parents..Parents attended the programme in large number. The orientation programme is organized just before the new section begins.
